Cookie Information

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer by websites you visit. They are widely used to operate or optimize the efficiency of these sites, but also to provide information to their owners.

A cookie is a small text file sent to your browser by the web server(s) hosting the files of the website you visit. You may encounter two types of cookies:

  1. session cookies
  2. persistent cookies.

Session cookies are only active as long as you use your browser. Once you close it, the cookie is then deleted. Persistent cookies remain on your hard drive until they expire or until you delete them.

Many websites use cookies to enable certain functions, such as determining whether the computer (and certainly the user) has visited the site before. This is done on future visits by verifying the unique identifier present in a cookie left behind from a previous visit. Some users object to this practice and choose to reject cookies, in whole or in part, but they can be convenient for both site visitors and site operators because they allow the collection of usage statistics to improve the online experience of visitors. Other uses include tracking items in online shopping carts and reducing the amount of time it takes to enter and process the same information each time a website is visited.

Cookies, whether session or persistent, are also referred to as "internal cookies" or "third-party cookies. Cookies associated with content from the main server of the page are internal cookies, while others are "third-party cookies". These third-party cookies are sometimes used to compile usage statistics on behalf of the site owner or, in the case of commercial websites, may be associated with advertising and are used to track the effectiveness of the advertising. To protect your privacy, your browser only allows a web server to access cookies that are already being sent by its domain, not cookies sent by web servers from other domains.

How we use cookies?

We use cookies to control access to secure parts of the website, for example for certain advanced features. (There are currently no session cookies used on this site, but this page will be updated when changes are made).

We also use cookies via Google Analytics to track the use of our website. These cookies are a valuable aid for improving and maintaining our website. When someone visits our website, we collect standard log-in information and details of visitor behavior patterns. This allows us to collect information such as the number of visitors to different parts of the site. We collect this information in a non-identifiable manner. We make no attempt to detect the identities of individuals visiting our website. We will not associate any data collected on this site with any personally identifiable information from any source. If we wish to collect personal information through our website, we will be transparent about it. We will inform you and explain the intended use of this information.

All our cookies are anonymous and session-based (unless otherwise specified) and we do not store any personal information in any of our cookies.

If you do not wish to use cookies, please disable them in your browser settings.

Cookies used by this website:
These are all cookies that we use to deliver this site to your browser:

1) Session cookies:
We do not currently use any session cookies on this website. A session cookie may be used to enhance the user experience when accessing a website. We do not use this type of cookie to track the individual, but to support any advanced functionality. These cookies are not stored on your computer and expire when you end your browser session.

2) Cookies created by Google Analytics : (Our website usage tracking software)
These cookies are all used in conjunction with each other to record statistics on website use. For more detailed information, please refer to the Google Analytics cookie information.

Google Analytics uses cookies to define user sessions, but also to provide a number of key features in Google Analytics reports. Google Analytics sets or updates cookies only to collect the data required for these reports and the cookies set by Google Analytics for this website and only sends data to our servers, making these cookies the personal property of our website domain. Under no circumstances can the data be modified or retrieved by any service on any other domain. All of them must have an average level of protection and monitoring of privacy.

This cookie helps to identify unique visitors to our sites. The results are sent to our Google Analytics account so that we can see the number of unique visitors to this site over a period of time. This is a persistent cookie that expires within 2 years.

This cookie is used by Google Analytics to determine the session times of visitors to our sites. As soon as you visit a new page on the site, the cookie is scheduled to expire within 30 minutes, if it does not find any existing cookie, a new one is then created.

This cookie is used by Google Analytics in conjunction with the cookie to determine visitor sessions. Unlike the cookie has no expiration date, it determines whether a new session should be created by checking whether you have previously closed your browser, opened it again and returned to the site. As a session cookie, it is only executed for that visit.

This cookie is used by Google Analytics to determine the type of referral used by each visitor to arrive at our site. The cookie determines whether the user went directly to the site or via a search engine, email or email campaign. We use this data to understand how our users reach the website. This is a persistent cookie that expires within 6 months.
