As a trainer, Niels is focused, professional and dedicated. He is very good at rehabilitation after surgery....Niels is firm but always understanding.
Through all the years l enjoyed Niels’s friendship and support and we had fun!Niels was my personal trainer2 to 3 times a week for several years in Belgium until we relocated to the UK in 2016.
I first started working with him after l had an anterior crucial ligament in my knee repaired surgically. He helped me build strength in my leg muscles and then worked on my cardio, stamina, flexibility and overall general fitness. I was able to resume skiing the following winter with no problems. I started to really enjoy my 5 km runs on the treadmill which were part of my programme.
When l decided that l would enrol for a charity trek up to Machu Picchu, Peru in 2009 l needed to train for endurance and also high altitude. Niels upped my programme to train me for this challenge. We started running outside on a regular basis and did endless stepping. The trek was hard in places (especially reaching the aptly named Dead Woman’s Pass) but l was able to fully enjoy nearly every moment and it remains one of the most rewarding and memorable times of my life.
As a trainer, Niels is focused, professional and dedicated. He is very good at rehabilitation after surgery - l also came back quickly from 2 gynaecological operations as well as my knee repair!
Niels is firm but always understanding.Through all the years l enjoyed Niels’s friendship and support and we had fun.
